The Da Vinci Code Debunked

Posted by: Secrets | Comments (0)

The Da Vinci Code, both the name of the book and now current film needs to be debunked. It is so misleading because Mr. Brown (author of the Da Vinci Code) draws attention away from the facts that are noteworthy.

The Templers, Mary Magdallen, and the Masons, come back into view every so often, just like pyramid schemes The “facts” alluded to by Mr. Brown are only conjecture at best, and taken from a host of other books whose authors were careful to present their thesis in a prudent manor. Mr. Brown’s Da Vinci Code was not careful at all.

What then is the Da Vinci Code? Was Leonardo da Vinci in receipt of the dark secrets he was supposed to reveal in his paintings? Certainly the Templers had been disbanded by the time of Leonardo’s lifetime, and information about them in Italy would have been scarce; except if revealed by the Church itself, a highly doubtful thought.

It is true Leonardo moved to France for the last part of his life, and lived with the Royal family there. The earlier paintings were completed during his Florence period, and this was known for his open relations with young men, and formal accusations of homosexuality, not Templar and Church secrets. Could this be the Da Vinci Code Mr. Brown forgot to mention?

There are some real facts that a careful author, and not just a sensationalist, would have taken into account. Leonardo was a bastard and resented his mother for never having been married to his father. Leonardo was born and died a bastard. He despised the normal married family. At 14 he left the family household altogether to become an apprentice to the famous Verrocchio.

Leonardo worked with other great artists in that studio, many of which were also gay, Botticelli amongst them. Then on April 8, 1476 Leonardo and the others in the studio were formally charged with being homosexual; then a great offense. He was barely acquitted, but not without great pressure from very influential people.

Leonardo founded his own studio, but it was not an easy-going affair. As part of the code Mr. Brown alludes to (and taken from responsible books), the Last Supper has many clues to the code in question. The person seated next to him is a woman (supposedly Mary Magdalene), but Jesus is having nothing to do with her. In fact, you can name a painting the Last Supper, but is it? Doubtful, as the last supper was a Jewish Feast of Passover, and there are no typical Passover symbols on the table.

Moreover, also mentioned in the code was the Mona Lisa. Few people realize that the painting was much larger, with two columns (one to each side of the subject) having been removed, perhaps Masonic symbols, but the Masons had not been founded yet. As Leonardo took this painting with him to France when he immigrated, it was supposed it was out of his love for the subject. The painting was sold to the King almost immediately.

One has to go back to the long-standing “fact” that the Mona Lisa was a man in drag, and the smile a hint of the joke to the viewer.

The above facts are not used by Mr. Brown, as they do not fit the Templar / Masonic conspiracy theory. One would not be surprised, perhaps, to discover Mr. Brown himself a Mason.

Lastly their main theme of Mr. Brown’s critics are saying that were Jesus to be married and have children would cast some dispersion on His Divinity. In fact, a full half of the human race believes that Buddha was divine, and certainly He was married and had a son. That line also goes on today, without much ado.

The Da Vinci Code is clever for sure, but can easily be missed without much trouble, as the theme will re-appear soon. The whole Templar and Jesus concept was brought up by Umberto Eco in his book Foucault’s Pendulum, but a great portion of the readers seem to have forgotten it; just as the new victims of Ponzi schemes never remember that last great pyramid to fall.

Eliezer Gonzalez

There is no doubt that Dan Brown’s novel “The Da Vinci Code” has caused many heated debates since being released in 2003. To date, it is estimated to have sold more than 60,000 copies, not to mention the websites it has launched, the television shows and the movie or the sequel book. Here we are going to take a look at several of the most talked about statements in the novel, and from a Christian standpoint, we will supply facts as to how much is truth and how much is fiction.

Jesus and Mary Magdalene

Probably the most talked about statement, the one that causes most people to enter into heated and emotionally fueled debates is that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and that they had a daughter named Sarah. To support this, the book refers to the writings of the “Gnostic Gospels” more specifically to the text of Philip.

Here is what we know, that Jesus lived during the first century of this era. The New Testament that talks about the life and death of Jesus, historians that were born during the same century wrote accounts of Jesus’ life and death, and a collection of Rabbinical writings as well as letters that were written around 96 AD make no mention of a marriage between Jesus and Mary or that there was a child. These documents were written by people that were followers as well as by people that did not believe in the miracle of Jesus. As a matter of fact, of the non believers that wrote about Jesus many were antagonistic and derogatory, but still do not mention anything that would change the current portrayal of a celibate and unmarried Jesus.

The Gnostic Gospel

The text that is referred to the most from the Gnostic Gospel is the “Gospel of Philip.” The novel states that this specific text made reference to a very intimate relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdalene. The novel states that the “Gospel of Philip” states that “Christ loved her more than all the disciples and used to kiss her often on her mouth…”

It is important that you have some background information about the Gnostic Gospels. They were discovered in 1945 at Nag Hammadi in Egypt. It is believed by many scholars that it was written approximately 150 years after Jesus. The person responsible for writing the “Gospel of Philip” is unknown and it is considered a non-Christian document.

Now there are many writings in the Gnostic Gospel itself that were written about the same time that seem to borrow names, ideas and concepts from the Christian New Testament. If you were able to the read the text of Philip, there is a story of Jesus and Mary where they are described as having a relationship that was unlike the relationship Jesus shared with his other disciples. The difference in the actual text and the novel is that the word for “mouth” does not appear in the non-translated text. Therefore many fit their own word in the statement. It is possible that what was meant could be hand, forehead or cheek. Cheek is more believable then mouth as that kissing on the cheek is still a custom in the Middle East.

The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Gnostic Gospel

The Da Vinci Code states that these two documents are the earliest Christian records. As a matter of fact, it goes as far to say that the New Testament is nothing more than a forgery. Let us look at what these documents are exactly. First the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are approximately 900 documents that are written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. They were found in caves near Jerusalem in and ancient village called Qumran between the years of 1947 and 1956. The Dead Sea Scrolls contain some of the oldest copies of parts of the Old Testament. They also contain writings of a religious group called Essenes. This group was based in Israel in 200 BC and they lasted until 100 AD.

It has been the attempt of many to try to show there is a connection between Christianity and the Dead Sea Scrolls. They have even gone as far as to say that they are not the word of God, but instead the basis for the New Testament. Yet several sources that have read the scrolls state there is no mention of Jesus anywhere in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Gnostic Gospels, well, we covered those partially earlier in our attempt to show the disparity between a fictional novel and historical fact. While we do not know who wrote any of the Gnostic Gospels, we do know that they were not Christian, but people trying to act as though they were Christians. To further prove this, you need to compare the New Testament and the Gnostic Gospel. As a Christian, you know that the New Testament is a continuation of the Old Testament, and in reading it, you will note that there are several references to the Old Testament including details about what the life of the land was like in Israel during the first century.

The Gnostic Gospels however make very little reference to the land, leading many to think that the Gnostic people had never even been to Israel, or perhaps they were not alive during that first century. Plus there is a theological contradiction between the New Testament and the Gnostic Gospel.

Da Vinci was a Pagan

As that the novel takes his name and links the story his masterful works, it is only natural then to sum up or discussion with this statement that is obviously false. Leonardo Da Vinci is being portrayed as an anti-Christian pagan from the Renaissance Era who was entrusted with a great secret that could undermine the foundation of Christianity itself. Naturally though, the desire to share bits and pieces of this great secret with the world got the better of him and he used his artwork, his Christian based artwork to divulge his anti-Christian beliefs.

To disprove this statement, we need look no further then to the first biography written about Leonardo Da Vinci by Giorgio Vasari. This book was published in 1550, and in it, Da Vinci repented his sins and confessed that Christianity was were his faith lie near the end of his life. It is stated in the biography that Da Vinci desired “to be informed of Catholic practice and of the good and holy Christian religion, then, after many tears, he repented and confessed.” It goes on to say that in this document that was penned in front of witnesses and stated by Da Vinci himself that he “commends his soul to Almighty God” (not the goddess), “to the Blessed Virgin Mary” (not Magdalene), and “to Saint Michael and all the angels and saints in paradise.” – “The Truth Behind The Da Vinci Code,” by Richard Abanes, page 65.

While controversy and cover up provide an excellent and exciting story line for a novel, one only needs to dig into history just a little to see that not everything we read is based on truth. But if reading this novel has made you think about your faith once more, it then has served a great purpose. http://www.davincitruth.com

The Affiliate Code – Mastering Affiliate Marketing

I started looking to build an online affiliate marketing business. After searching and buying many programs I found the affiliate code. I was very impressed with the quality of the product, and the marketing video modules. I had never really seen the secret code that cloaks your affiliate code, so you can work under the radar.

From everything I have seen online, most of the programs tell you to buy adwords to promote your products. I understand if you have a large budget, and unlimited resources, you can afford to purchase high priced keywords. I have to admit I spend thousands of dollars, which returned approximately 1 dollar for every 5 dollars spent.

I watch the 8.5 hours of powerful training videos, which contained more information about affiliate marketing than I ever knew existed. The Affiliate Code is designed to teach you how to set up an affiliate web site, and make money online by participating in the most popular online affiliate networks like ClickBank, Cj, Linkshare, ect.

Michael Jones is a super affiliate earning millions of dollars a year, and has developed the affiliate code program to help others get started in the affiliate marketing business. Some people say Michael Jones is just doing it to make a profit, But isn’t that what we all want? Make a profit!

Michael Jones hasn’t left anything out; he starts from the beginning and goes through the entire set up process with designing and building a website, creating the website graphics, copy writing articles, working with search engine optimization, and a lot more. He does the complete program on his computer, with a screen capture program.  This lets you watch what he was actually doing throughout all the videos.

Some of the video modules in the program include: Module 1: Choosing Your Niche, Module 2: Picking Your Product, Module 3: Tech Talk Site Setup, Module 4: Using an Autoresponder, Module 5: Copywriting 101, Module 6: Driving Free Traffic, Module 7: Tracking, Module 8: Scaling it Up

My conclusion is, if you want to make money online selling affiliate products. This must be, in my opinion, how the super affiliates make their millions. If you tried making money with affiliate marketing, and have not been successful, The Affiliate Code is unbelievable and definitely worth checking out.

Your Friend,

Dave The Affiliate

The Secret Books of Paradys 1 & 2: The Book of the Damned / The Book of the Beast

There are very few individuals who have not heard of the Da Vinci Code, whether it be with regard to the book, movie or legends surrounding it. For those who know a little bit about the concept, the gist is that there are various truths hidden within the puzzle known as the Da Vinci Code. So much talk and controversy has surrounded the Code that it seems as if the truth may never be uncovered due to secrecy, skepticism and having it be a hidden thing of the past. However, in order to shed some light on this issue, the following will highlight some speculation with regard to truths within this frequently discussed mystery.

The one issue brought about in the Da Vinci Code was that Mary Magdalene was actually the wife of Jesus and pregnant with his child at the time of his death. This would proffer a bloodline theory surrounding Jesus. This was one of the main issues when it came to arguments surrounding any possible truths in relation to the Code. This has brought on quite a bit of controversy from religious groups who argue that the Bible is the supreme record to go by and the allegations related to the Code are not true.

Another issue revolving around the Code pertains to the artist Da Vinci. It was alleged that his works were somehow connected to the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail relates to one being the bearer of the blood of Jesus, such as in the case of Mary Magdalene who, as stated above, some believe to be the mother of the child of Jesus. As for the artist, it is stated that he was a member of the secret society known as the Priory of Sion. His most famous work of art, the Mona Lisa, is said to be connected to the Code and Holy Grail by evidencing the union of man and woman, due to the manly features of what is thought to be the female Mona Lisa.

The main issues that have been debated back and forth on this topic deal with religious significance and the truth behind the past. Those who abide by the Bible as the supreme religious text denounce any possibility that an alternative religious theory could exist. Scholars and laypersons alike have discussed this topic in private meetings and public arenas. Unearthing the truth behind this controversy is something which may never be possible as there are things from the past which will never be known. However, this does not prevent those who believe or reject the possibility that the Da Vinci theory has some ounce of truth to it from speculating on what truly occurred in the past.

For vehicles made after 1996, retrieving the codes of the check engine light in your dash panel is simple. All you need to do is find your diagnostic connector located under the dash by the driver side. You can then hook up a scanner and the codes will be displayed for you. If you don’t have any scanner like most drivers, you can bring your vehicle to any local automotive parts store and they will usually scan the codes FREE for you. However, for vehicles made on or before 1995, there is only one cheap way to get it: You do it yourself!

On board diagnostic (OBD) was designed on vehicles equipped with electronic fuel injection so you can generally retrieve the codes yourself. No need buying a scanner or running to any parts stores to check the engine light. This system is called obd1 and applies to most vehicles made before 1995 for domestics and 1993 on imports. In this article, I will discuss the methods used by domestic vehicle manufacturers on how to check the engine light codes in their cars and trucks.

For GM domestic vehicles made before 1995, the diagnostic connector is located under the dash panel by the driver side. To get the check engine codes to flash in your dash panel, use a jumper wire or a paper clip and connect terminals A and B of the diagnostic connector. Turn your ignition key on with engine off and the codes should start to blink. All codes should start with code 12 which is one long flash followed by 2 short flashes. This code 12 means the diagnostic system is normal and will repeat itself continuously if there are no trouble codes. Otherwise, code 12 will flash 3 times before flashing the fault codes.

Ford owners can check their check engine light using the diagnostic connector located at the engine compartment by the fender near the battery. Getting the obd1 codes need a couple of tools: a 4 inch long gage 16 jumper wire and a 12 volt test light.

Both tools are hooked up to the diagnostic connector and when the ignition key is turned on (without starting engine) the codes will begin to flash in the test light, not in the dash panel. If there is no code, you will normally get code 11 or 111. On Fords, there are 2 test modes, the KOEO (key on engine off) and the KOER (key on engine running). Both test modes should be used to get the accurate evaluation of the stored fault codes.

Of all the 3 domestic vehicles, the easiest method to check the engine light is Chrysler products. Why? Because all you need is to turn the ignition key on and off a within 5 seconds and the codes will start to flash in the dash panel.

Counting the codes being flashed is almost the same for these 3 domestic vehicles and most of the codes can be erased or cleared by disconnecting the battery negative terminal for 1 minute and reconnect. Just make sure to check your service manual in case you have electronic equipment such as radio or clock that needs reprogramming in which battery disconnection is not recommended. Finally after performing repairs on the culprit code, always go for a road test to confirm if the problem is fixed.
